The majority of my twenty-five 4th graders have been with me since second grade. They are part of a bilingual class that has allowed them to further develop their academic skills in Spanish and English. It has also fostered new comers that have zero to limited English. My students work diligently every day to continue their American dream. The majority of them come from immigrant families and live in a low socioeconomic environment.
