Our school has over 60% of our students receiving free and reduced price lunch. Over 30% of our students are ESL (English as a Second Language) and many are refugees from other countries. Some of them have never attended school, and many students live in small apartments with multiple families. They are extremely excited and eager to learn and we don't want them to lose a single minute in the day! Especially for sharpening pencils...
