My students are a diverse group of kindergartners who are the first class to enter a brand new charter school. Our charter school's focus is to foster inquiry, community, and a passion for learning. Each child is an artist, author, scientist, musician, and mathematician. We do not yet have the funding for many of the standard classroom necessities, a carpet being one of them. It would greatly benefit not only this kindergarten classroom's education, but kindergarten classes for years to come. These children are amazing in so many ways and they deserve to have an optimal learning environment which would be made possible with this class rug.
