My students are a vibrant group of 6th graders who walk into our math small group every day with a 'can-do' spirit, despite the significant learning hurdles they face. Many of my students have IEPs and struggle to visualize abstract math concepts. However, they are incredibly resilient; they don't want the easy way out—they want the right tools to help them understand. By providing these determined learners the ability to use digital manipulatives and interactive bar models. This technology will bridge the gap between 'struggling to keep up' and 'leading the way.'
