Most of my students come from families that are first and second generation Americans. They are working hard to learn English and to understand the educational system. They come every morning with their homework done and ready for new information to be taught that day. Our school has hard working parents that are working at least two jobs, but the parents care about their students and want the best for them. I see students that are curious about what is being taught and excited about learning.
