What I am requesting for my students will be used daily! A big classroom rug will give my students an inviting spot to gather and read books during center time and to listen to an engaging read aloud from their teacher. The area rug will be our focal meeting point for class discussion circles were students can share their thoughts and learn from each other. Students love to talk! In addition, The book bins will be used to organize and categorize my class library, making it easier for students to access the books that interest them. Having a warm and inviting area rug for students will make them feel at home! How cool would it be to find the perfect spot to read a book or just a place to relax and talk to a friend? I want students to come to my classroom every day and have this cozy space dedicated to their academic, social and emotional learning.
