My classroom contains 24 kindergarteners who love to paint! They are loving and energetic. They attend a low-income primary center in California . Our school's primary focus is on maintaining and improving scores. Hence, our school day is very rigorous and allows for limited art projects. Art promotes children's self-esteem and this also promotes higher test scores.
