In our title 19 school, my students come from all different types of cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds. They are a dynamic, diverse group who are inquisitive, creative and have an eagerness to learn. They love to be challenged with engaging technology and books that make them think and feel. Our classroom is a collaborative classroom. There is not one teacher in the room but 21. We work together to discover what works best for all of us. My room is a safe place for everyone to be themselves. This means from the very first day we begin to build a community of children. They learn having good character means doing what's right even when no one is looking. My kids deserve the very best I can give them so I work tirelessly to get them what they need to be successful and happy.
