I am a teacher in a public special education school for students 16-22 years old with moderate to severe cognitive impairments. Regardless of how they are classified or why, each and every one of my students are so smart and full of life in their own ways. I am inspired every day to better my teaching practices and expand upon my resources to better my students' opportunities at independence and a greater quality of life post-graduation.
