My school is made up of around 800 students from grades kindergarten through grades five coming from various socioeconomic backgrounds. We are a Title 1 school receiving funds based on the percentage of students receiving free and reduced meals. My library program is currently being revamped with an emphasis on balanced reading of fiction and non-fiction texts, the research process, and appropriate use of technology for a variety of purposes.

About my class
