Children are energetic and like to move. Researchers suggest that physical health is linked to higher academic performance. The flexing seating provides an opportunity for children to wobble, rock, and bounce safely while learning in the classroom. It helps students be alert and focused on their learning. Adding flexible seating to my classroom makes students have more choices on how they want to sit comfortably. The flexible seating encourages children to take turns in different locations and with different seating options. It also makes students feel empowered by making their own choices.
