My sweet students are passionate about learning every day! Although they live in a high poverty area, these third graders are able to see what is most important and work toward achieving their goals. It is not unusual to see my kids with their little noses stuck in books, or to hear them sharing with one another what they are reading about. It is my passion to make sure that each one of my children has everything that is needed to be successful in school every day. This, of course, usually means late nights and weekends spent planning engaging lessons, shopping, and perusing the library. Every moment and every penny spent to me is worthwhile to make a difference in the lives of these very special children!

About my class
