My school is filled with an extremely diverse population of students. We are a part of a district that is comprised of 13 very unique communities and this building draws from every one of those communities. Students and parents enter into a contract to attend this building because they are signing on for an additional 15 school days and an additional hour of instruction on a daily basis. We are entering the third year as a pilot building within the school district and as such, we offer a number of intervention and enrichment opportunities that every student is involved in. These opportunities range from extra math help, reading interventions, dance classes, Shakespeare competitions and Spanish across all grades.
