I am a teacher in an Inclusive Co-teaching classroom in Brooklyn, New York. I have taught elementary school for seven years in fourth and fifth grade. As a teacher I strive to create an inclusive environment that celebrates a divers range of student strengths and interests. I am continually looking for innovative ways to make learning relevant and meaningful by through an awareness of my student's backgrounds. I am also deeply committed to social justice education and creating a classroom environment that celebrates equity and an appreciation for diverse perspectives. My students inspire and motivate me daily with their energy and excitement.
