My students are a passionate group of 23 students who enjoy exploring new things and love to be read to. Our community is located in Minnesota. We have a small to moderate level of poverty in our schools. Because of the large class size, I must prioritize equipment in my classroom. I highly value reading, therefore I want to make my room rich in literature with comfortable places to read. We have a few foam covered crates, but not much else for comfy spaces to curl up with a good book. I believe my students would establish good reading habits when given appropriately sized, comfortable furniture.
