My students want to make it to and through college. Having access to AP courses is part of their journey. At my low income school, all students take AP classes because we believe that regardless of a student's background they can succeed. Equitable opportunities like this have allowed many students at my school to earn college credit in high school and develop skills necessary to navigate college. Many of my students, however cannot afford tutors or study books for the test. With class sizes as high as 37 students, my kids deserve more 1:1 support. The program Albert.io would do just that. By purchasing this software for my students they would have access to an interactive online platform that is customized to them. This opportunity would help give them the support they need to walk into college with confidence!
