If my students could learn about just one subject all day long, it would be science! Kids love to explore! My students come from very diverse backgrounds. Some have learning disabilities, some are at the top of the chart, some are so shy they won't even speak in class, some have had such a rough home life they know exactly where the police station is. Even with their differences, they all love to learn and explore topics in science. With our high demands on Reading and Math, it is hard to fit science in our curriculum. Our small school is one of the oldest in our district and has many structural obstacles. Our student population has reached over 50% of our students receiving free/reduced breakfast and lunches.
