This is an urban elementary school located in the state of Ohio. Many of our students are disadvantaged and supplies are very limited. Most have to be purchased by the classroom teacher throughout the school year. The school has a very unique and diverse population. A high percentage of our students are learning disabled, developmentally handicapped, orthopedic and other health impaired. There is a full inclusion program in the regular education classrooms. Although our students face many challenges, academic gains are achieved each year. Our students have little experience and knowledge of the world around them. Through hard work and determination, the teachers and staff strive to bring the world and experiences to the students. No matter the obstacle, the teachers feel that each student can and will succeed! The staff works collaboratively with parents to foster a stimulating, creative, and safe learning environment that inspires students to reach their highest academic potential!
