My third grade class is very inquisitive and curious about the world. They enjoy listening to the stories I read to them in class, but learning to read and comprehend what they read is one of their major challenges. I try to make our classroom as literature rich as possible, but lack of supplies is hindering our growth. I know that when many of these students go home, our love of words and reading about the world is not being met and reinforced. For this reason I feel it is so important to have accessible all the supplies possible to stimulate their hungry minds.

About my class
