My students are resilient, full of personality, and eager to succeed. Many come from less fortunate backgrounds and face challenges that other children may not experience. At times, they need extra patience, love, and understanding, but that’s because they are looking for someone to believe in them and bring out their best. What makes my students special is their spirit — they work hard, they have incredible personalities, and they hold onto hope even when the odds are stacked against them. They make me laugh every single day and challenge me to grow into a better teacher. My goal as their teacher is to provide opportunities they may not otherwise have and to show them that they are valued, capable, and deserving of success.
