The fourth and fifth grade students in our reading intervention program are just like any other student in their grade. The difference is they are 2-3 years below in reading. What they have in common is the frustration of not reading at grade level which affects all subject areas. They are students attending public school and are very close to going to Jr. High a non-reader if they don't receive the help they need.
