I teach in an urban elementary school. We have large class sizes of between 26-30 students. My classroom is an inclusion room. Many of my students struggle with poor self control and attention deficits. In the past we had a structured recess program, but due to funding we no longer have the program. I have noticed that since we stopped this program that children are having a hard time playing together cooperatively. I would like to use these materials to get out some energy during recess, so that we can have better focus in the classroom.
