The dry erase boards can be used to engage every student in every lesson. They can be used in whole group instruction, small guided groups or in learning centers. Having students complete a math problem, write an answer or explain their thinking on a whiteboard is a quick way assess student work. I like to walk around the classroom and have the students “reveal” their answers (hold it up face me). I can also easily see who was struggling or if the entire class is struggling. The cushioned headphones I'm requesting will have the ability to block sounds, making the surrounding area quiet, which is important in testing situations. This helps the students stay focused on the task, rather than on the noises of a classroom. They will also be used to accommodate the daily use of technology.
