My students are eager, diligent, optimistic fourth and fifth grade students. Many live in our small rural town. However, there are several families who travel from two towns over to bring their children to us to receive a better education. The school they attend, our school, is a public charter based in the Montessori philosophy with project based flare. Most of my students have attended our school since kindergarten, however there are many who are new to the school this year. My students have learned to accept each other and work together with the grace and kindness that is befitting of our community of learners.
