The school I teach at is in Southeast Louisiana and we are considered a high poverty title I school. The students that attend our school come from a variety of ethnic and social backgrounds, we are like a huge melting pot. I have the pleasure of teaching two groups of 5th graders. These kids are intelligent and so full of life. It makes me appreciate my job and place here on Earth to know that some days I may be the only smiling face and kind voice that they hear.
