As an instructional technology coach for a small community school, I service over 400 students grade pre-k through 4th. These students have very little exposure to technology and are just recently enjoying to fruits of tech integration. The school has a VERY limited budget and therefore has limited access to iPads and other devices unlike other districts. The students are getting their exposure through sharing their devices. Although they are at a disadvantage due to the limited access, the teachers and students are working so hard at learning 21st Century learning through their sharing. I work with teachers on how to integrate technology into their lessons to enhance instructional practices as well as work with students to increase their digital citizenship and technology understanding.
