Innovative thinking is the vision in our classroom. Students are challenged to be creative everyday. They are challenged to set high goals and are supported to reach those goals. Our classroom is a place where inquiry drives a never-ending love of learning. Our school is made up of a diverse population of students in a suburb of Chicago. The neighborhood of the school reflects a population of families that have had a vested interest in supporting first class education for their children and 10 years ago, we were a more homogeneous group, but times have changed. With the fall in the economy and the relocating of section 8 housing to the suburbs, our school has welcomed students who need more financial assistance than we had been used to. Our community is working together to provide a 21st century appropriate curriculum to our students while embracing their diverse backgrounds. With your help, we can achieve!
