I dream of a technology-centered second grade! This year, I made it my own personal goal to put an iPad in the hands of each of my students. We live in a technology-driven society, where parents and almost all adults have a device with them at all times. Babies grow up listening to stories on YouTube! I am very aware that too much screen time can be detrimental to the development of little minds, especially if the screen time is in the form of video games. I plan on using technology as a tool for learning. I want to teach students how to properly use technology to obtain knowledge, not play games. Of course, I will find so many more ways to use this technology to help expand the minds of my students! An iPad in each students' hand is also like each student having their own personal library! Opportunities are limitless! Please consider helping me reach this goal for my sweet class! I promise to make your donation count!
