My high school is 95% Mexican and most students are on the free or reduced lunch program. I am preparing my students to attended a four year university. They are motivated and so eager to learn, however, in the past few years it has been necessary to require students to purchase some of the novels required for my class. Many students find it difficult to buy lunch not to mention purchase a novel. Given the opportunity and the resources, I have witnessed how successful my students have become. They are truly great students who need some help.
