Imagine the majority of your meals came from fast-food restaurants, vending machines, snack bars, and processed wrappers. Now imagine you had a chance in high school to learn to make fresh pasta, homemade cookies, and other meals from scratch. My high school students love learning to cook for themselves. Having a chance to work with a stand mixer to whip, mix, stir and then add a pasta-making​ attachment or sausage making attachment will open doors for even more recipes to be attempted. Students are learning independent skills, nutritional guidelines, and culinary skills. New equipment would make our learning journey so much more fun!
