The third graders that I am so fortunate to teach and have in my classroom come from all different types of families, backgrounds, and beliefs. They are kind students that want to get the most out of hands on experiences. My third graders combine great curiosity with increased social interest. Their understanding of what they read and learn is dependent upon relating ideas to their own experiences. They are vibrant students full of energy! The school they attend includes grades k-5 and is in a rural South Dakota community. It has a very comfortable, close knit learning environment with many opportunities for them to succeed and be productive while still being and acting like kids!

About my class
