Amazon Future Engineer Music Career Tour

Thank you for your interest in Amazon Future Engineer Career Tours! Our interactive virtual field trips take students backstage to discover the incredible science and careers behind Amazon's latest technologies. On the Amazon Music Tour, your students will discover the computer science behind a song’s journey from the studio to streaming and the careers that make it happen! Whether they’re hearing from a mastering engineer, a data scientist, a copyright lawyer, or producer, your students will finish the tour with a deeper understanding of the hidden technology careers that power the music industry.

The Amazon Music Career Tour is free, aligned to NGSS and CSTA Standards, which introduces students to careers of the future. The Kahoot! is designed to be completed in a single class period. To make it easy to use in class, we provide an optional Teacher Facilitation Guide, student worksheet, printable certificates, and more.

Take your class on our Amazon Music Career Tour, provide feedback in a survey, and you’ll receive $100 DonorsChoose credit. Amazon Future Engineer will use all feedback to guide the creation of our future Career Tours.

To be eligible for this reward, you need to:

  1. Teach at least 20 students in any grades K-12. Please note that this tour is designed for grades 4-10. While content may be relevant to other students, educators should preview the tour before hosting it with their students.
  2. Take your class (at least 20 students) on The Amazon Music Tour by hosting the Kahoot! Tour in your class. Students can compete against each other from their devices, participate without devices, or complete the tour individually as an assignment. It’s up to you!
    • The tour is available in full (45 minutes) or 2 parts (25 minutes each).
  3. Optional: Use the Teacher Toolkit to make it easy. The tour comes with a facilitation guide, student worksheets, and more – download the documents from our websites.
  4. Tell us how it went by completing this feedback form. Your responses will be shared with the Amazon Future Engineer team.

We will review your responses, and if everything checks out, you’ll be emailed your $100 DonorsChoose gift code within three weeks.
