Amazon Future Engineer Career Tours

AFE Tech Tours

Amazon Future Engineer Career Tours are interactive virtual field trips (hosted on Kahoot!) that take students behind-the-scenes at Amazon to explore the technology and careers of the future. Students can:

As students learn how a particular technology works, they also explore the incredible careers that brought the innovation to life!

Amazon Future Engineer currently offers 4 different Career Tours on Kahoot!. Each tour is free, aligned to NGSS and CSTA Standards, focuses on career exploration, and can be completed in one hour. Teachers can host any tour on Kahoot!, so students can play along as they learn. To make facilitation easy, we provide an optional Teacher Guide, student worksheet, printable certificates, and more for each tour.

Take your class on any one of our Career Tours, provide feedback in a survey, and you’ll receive $100 DonorsChoose credit. Amazon Future Engineer will use all feedback to guide the creation of future Career Tours.

To be eligible for this award, you need to:

  1. Teach at least 20 students in any grade-level.
  2. Take your class (at least 20 students who haven’t completed the selected tour before) on one of our Career Tours by hosting the Kahoot! Tour in your class. Students can compete against each other from their devices, participate without devices, or complete the tour individually as an assignment. It’s up to you. Preview all tours here or in the links below.
  3. Optional: Use the Teacher Toolkit to make it easy. Each tour comes with a facilitation guide, student worksheets, and more – download the documents from our websites.
  4. Tell us how it went by completing this feedback form.Your responses will be shared with the Amazon Future Engineer team.

We will review your responses, and if everything checks out, you’ll be emailed your $100 DonorsChoose gift code within three weeks.
