My 5th grade classroom is filled with 21 enthusiastic students. My students are motivated and embrace technology. I try to use as many hands-on approaches as I can to keep my students engaged. In addition to a hands-on approach, I incorporate as much technology as I can. I believe that technology is a wonderful tool that can engage and motivate students to be in control of their learning. The students in my classroom come from a variety of educational and social backgrounds. The school I work at is a brand new charter school in a rural setting. As a first year school, we are working on building up our resources to make information accessible to all our students.
