My students are kind. They look out for one another and take care of their peers. If a child is struggling or has special needs, the entire class comes together to make sure the child is alright. My students love attention and they love to feel like they have accomplished something. They try to please and enjoy feeling like they have learned and had fun simultaneously. My school is extremely small. We are located in a low income area and have a variety of socioeconomic statuses in our classrooms. Some of the students have never been read to at home. They think the only adults who read are teachers or people with important careers. Most of their parents want them to do well in school, but they are unable to help them with their schoolwork. My school is a loving school. Our top priority is that a child is loved. Some of our children come to school to learn, but a lot of them come to be loved!
