My classroom is made up of 6 students with moderate to severe developmental disabilities. We have 4 classroom aides and myself in the room at all times. Each student has significant cognitive, behavioral, and social deficits that are worked on daily with their peers. Our program was created to build confidence and capabilities of students and focuses on developing communication skills and personal independence. My classroom also has many adults to help lead our students towards success. My students are amazing, exceptional, and life-changing individuals. They learn best through visuals, manipulatives, and hands-on activities. Please help lead my students towards success and independence with me! Together, we can make a difference!
