Cultivating creativity is important in teaching. Movement using ribbons to express one's self and how they interpret music teaches kids that sometimes in life, there is more than one answer. Exploration of the diverse instruments using these guided lessons in this project will spark curiosity. And spot markers will help to teach respect and awareness of personal space. Building the left-brain encourages "big picture" thinking, creativity, freedom, spontaneity, and emotions. The funding of this project will help support building connection, creativity, cooperation, innovation and emotional intelligence in my students. Musically, the students will participate in reading music, learning musical form, proper instrument technique, instrument care, and spatial awareness. Let's play and learn!
