Currently, many of our students play on beginner-level quality instruments. Along with those instruments come with low-quality "stock" mouthpieces and ligatures. These "stock" mouthpieces and ligatures, though satisfactory at the elementary level, greatly restricts the ability of our students to produce mature and characteristic tones on their instruments at the high school level. When students play on these mouthpieces for the first time, it can instantly change a students mind from "I'm an okay player" to "Wow, I sound good!" I guarantee this "spark" will encourage my students, especially those who doubt their abilities, to keep pushing themselves to become better musicians. This project will provide our students with a greater musical and educational experience. Thank you for your donation and supporting the arts!
