Many of the students in my class come from low income families and do not have a lot of extra income. They lack the technology that could give them the added jump they need to reach their full potential in life. I have been working with iPods in my classroom for several years and it has given my students the added skills they were lacking in money, math, and life. I also use technology as a reward to encourage good behavior and for work well done. We do not use it for video gaming and just to goof off.
