My students are all from active-duty military families. These students move quite often, sometimes every two years. They have to change, and adapt to each new school, which can be difficult. Though they are labeled as "resilient", I know the lifestyle is not easy. They struggle to make new friends, learn new classroom routines and adjust to a brand new environment. As their teacher, I want my students to enjoy school and feel comfortable. I want learning to be exciting, adventurous and stimulating.

About my class
