My students use television production as the vehicle to find solutions to real world problems, find motivation to increase learning, and to learn how to work together and support each other. Every day my students find new ways to express themselves using technology. They have become eager to learn about the world beyond their own community. In class, they experiment with ideas and use creative thinking to produce Community Service Announcements, and to raise awareness for a variety of issues. Our school is in a rural town with a high percentage of poverty-stricken students. We are working to become an IB school and to increase the rigor of our educational programs.
