We are a STEM school that utilizes the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics to enhance our curriculum. As the STEM/Technology teacher for our school I serve over 750 students. This is our first year as a STEM school. Currently I am working with students and teachers to create new and exciting videos and projects on our iPads. Our students utilize the Engineering Design Process (ask, imagine, plan, create, improve) to solve problems through projects. We are also incorporating Project Based Learning (PBL) to enhance our students education. One of the requirements of PBL is to create products that move beyond the classroom and reach a larger audience. We are a Title One school. Many of our students don't have access outside of school to the technology that is driving the future of our country. We want to help them maximize this potential while at our school. We want to prepare them for the future. We want to make learning fun and relevant.
