Student access to iPads or iPods is very limited throughout the year. We have a couple of iPods to use in the Art room, but due to the small size they make creating digital art and typing very difficult. Also due to the small quantity of iPods it takes a long time for all students to create a project. My students come from a rural, public school. I see every student, Kindergarten to 5th grade each week. We create art in the traditional way with paper, but I want to add another dimension to my students' learning and better prepare them for their future. I want to have each student create a piece of digital art and have them learn a new process.
