My students are wonderful kids and by far my favorite part of my job. My students attend a large high school in a low income area. The majority of my students receive free breakfast and lunch at school. Each day, I teach three classes of Integrated Algebra to freshmen with special needs. These students are preparing to take their first Regents Exam in the Spring. Being successful on this exam will have a positive impact on their future high school and life opportunities. I also teach two classes of RCT prep to juniors and seniors with special needs. These students have had a large amount of difficulty with exams in the past, and could really benefit from learning to use note cards to study.
