My students are unbelievable. They have a drive for learning like I've never seen. My classroom stresses the importance of reading through read-alouds, silent reading, and guided reading. Our school promotes reading for enjoyment, and students LOVE visiting the library. I have created a "comfy" area in my classroom where students who finish work early can go to relax and dive in to a good book.
