Why did I choose my career? The best way for me to answer that question is by using a quote from one of my favorite books: "If a man cannot find happiness in his work he will live a miserable existence on this earth. It does not matter the occupation, it only matters that the man finds significance in the work. If a man works with the objective of increasing his salary, yet does not find significance in his work, no salary could ever be enough. If a man works for promotion instead of significance there is no position lofty enough to satisfy. Man must work so that through his life he has bettered the lives of others." The school I work at is a low income Title One school. I would like to make the children's lives richer through the use of technology in the classroom. In a technology driven world, children who receive a technology-based education will have a greater opportunity for a successful life.
