My students are from a small rural community. Their school consists of one large K-5 building of 600+ students. We are a low-socioeconomic school with approximately 50% free and reduced lunch families. In addition, we are a Title I school with a growing Hispanic population. My classroom is a diverse group of students coming from a variety of backgrounds. My students come to me reading at various levels.
