Third grade is such an important year in elementary school. My students use technology on a daily basis. My third graders will be able to access apps that reinforce skills and enable deeper learning. iPads are beneficial for students who are hands on learners as well as visual learners, allowing learning to be individualized. Having technology in the classroom will provide so many more learning opportunities. This is our school's first year. We are apart of a workshop school and we do most of our work in journals. Because of this, students don't get to display much of their work. Having iPads will allow students to post their work weekly, possibly even daily! iPads make learning fun while personalizing learning needs to meet each child's particular need. We sure hope you will help make a difference in our classroom and our future!
