I am so blessed to teach a class of students who have various physical and/or health impairments. My students are in my class because they need a unique place to learn that can meet all of their physical needs, while at the same time meeting their academic needs. They are a group of fun-loving, sweet, and bright kids who need extra support and adaptations in order to have the opportunity to have a successful school experience, just like every other kid. The unique challenges that each of my students face requires our class to have access to new technology, adapted play, art, and academic materials. Some resources may seem out of the ordinary, but believe me they are needed! Funds are often hard to come by for special materials, but that should not be an excuse as to why these amazing kids should go without. So take a look!!
