Chemistry is presently taught to all students of varying backgrounds from college prep to special education students. Our school serves a very economically and ethnically diverse population of around 1900 students. The state of Michigan has mandated that all students take three credits of science before they graduate including biology and chemistry or physics. Our school district has made the choice clear for students that chemistry is the primary route after biology. This annual project supports AP Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, and Chemistry 1 students in order to offer an exciting hands-on approach and encourage further study in science and chemistry.

About my class
